Then I factor in, as an entrepreneur, the charging time. It's just ridiculous how much time I would have to set aside just to charge an EV!

My Volvo XC60 surpasses most. Low mileage, low insurance (live in northern Sweden, not in theft-prone Stockholm). Diesel and can pull heavy. Low service costs. Yesterday I changed both (rear) brake discs + brake pads + what else is needed for it + they checked the prior error messages for free and were prepared in an emergency if I had a problem (it's Volvo).. Cost me 500 dollars. OK, expensive, could have done it myself. But also got a free diagnosis on what to expect, and if they missed something I would get priority. In Sweden, the workshops want to attract customers with excellent service, not through scams.

Me again. In 2023 there were 622 breweries in just Bavaria. Not Germany, just Bavaria. And about 1,5k in Germany in total. So you can roughtly multiply the amount of different beers by breweries * 4. Radler, Hell, (Hefe-)Weizen, Dunkel. Just because most of them make at least those 4 kinds of beers. A lot of them do much more. Anyways, i absolutely love your videos! Cool video The first truck i drove on the road was a scania 112m i wss only 24 back in 2002 It was a beast but was missing 7th gear 😂 The truck was alredy 13 years old but still went like a rocket 😂

The orange from Dutch fans is because the team is called “Oranje Leeuwen” (Orange Lions). The reference to orange comes from the Royal Family of The Netherlands, their last name is Oranje-Van Nassau. The color orange is associated with the Royals since the Dutch War of Independence in the 16th century.

Orange is the collor of the Dutch royal house. The first king was called William of Orange.

TVR Has been my favorite car company since being a little kid, first time i saw one was in gran turismo 1 where you could drive the TVR Griffith 500, unfortunately the "real" TVR died when Peter Wheeler left the company in 2004, he was in charge since the 80s and pretty all the famous TVR models came from that era, it was sold to some russian guy around 2004 and he pretty much bankrupted the company with a terrible car after that the factory in blackpool shut down and is now a ghost town. Apparently the rights to the name were bought out recently and they are currently working on a new car, but it's not really TVR anymore and i dont believe any new cars being made will be in blackpool either. It is a shame as it was the of the only British sports cars still being made in the country that hadnt been bought out by one of the bigger car companies. rolls royce, jaguar, land rover, aston martin are all owned and or made in other countries now

@11:32 That looks like it could be at the port of Dover in Kent UK. That was one of the main ports for crossing over to France. Just as you came out of the port there was a roundabout flying the Union flag 🇬🇧 And the buildings are in keeping of a coastal town. Once waiting for the ferry there in the early 90s there was an old Polish truck. So under powered it couldn't get up the ramp to board the ferry. Had 3 attempts each time with a longer run up. Must of had a 100 meter run up to get up a 30 meter ramp, still only just made it. Driver done well backing down the ramp at speed keeping it all straight.

When I was working in a remote area on a mining project a road kill roo had mostly dried out and someone stood it up and put a smoke in its mouth. The project engineer told all of us that this was grossly unacceptable and not to be repeated! Next day the roo had a hard hat , sunglasses, a reflective vest and work gloves on and holding a men at work sign! No comment from management!

trucking was way harder back then, you were not just the *driver* you did everything, changed tire, repaired it yourself on the road, manuals with awfull gearboxes, longer distances etc etc. and most trucks did not even have over 400hp, now here in sweden, we have common 500 6s, to 770hp v8s and automatic gearboxes, its like driving ferrari.

From an European: manual cars are less expensive to purchase and consume less fuel when properly used. But I own an automatic and I prefer it. 😅

In the 70’s, 80’s and part of the 90’s Mercedes used to be very high on the list of reliable trucks in europe. Their twin turbo V8 engines were famous for reliability and low end torque. They were also early in the game with semi-automated transmissions, and ABS brakes were fitted as standard from the mid 80’s. A lot of truck manufacturers in europe used to offer V8 engines, but only Scania use them today. Most had to ditch the V8’s due to emissions.
